wallace falls camping trip

We tried to do some fishing here but it was difficult.
Tonia, Chris and Jonathan took the first shift hiking to the falls while Teresa and I babysat David.

Father's day hike

Today we took Chris on a hike to Moulton Falls near Yacolt. We got a little lost because I didn't trust the directions but we made it without too much delay. The rain held off until the drive home and we just had a few sprinkles. We enjoyed seeing several falls and about a mile + hike altogether. We then enjoyed milkshakes on the way home at a little place that had a bunch of Irish maps and stuff on their walls. It brought back lots of memories for Reuben and Laura. Enjoy the pictures.
Teresa liked this big tree.
This is a view from the big bridge.

This pretty bridge is on the website for Moulton Falls. We like the reflection.

This was the upper falls. We actually hiked a little uphill from this falls on the trail and found a railroad track and a covered station by the track. It had a nice pot bellied stove and benches and even a recliner but also had a no tresspassing sign.

This was the lower falls next to the parking lot.
