This past Saturday Chris and I enjoyed a date to Vancouver and Portland. Before seeing the OMSI exhibit we stopped by a quilt show in Vancouver. There were some impressive quilts. I didn't actually find too many I would like to make but did find some ideas for future quilts. There was one made up of blocks from the recent shop hop that Teresa, Laura, Susie, Jenna and myself attended last year. Teresa is working on a table runner and I am doing a wall hanging or throw size.  It made me even more motivated to finish it.

After the quilt show we had lunch at the Taste of Asia in Vancouver at the recommendation of Reuben and Laura.  That was the location of their first date.  It was enjoyable.  I sure miss Sing Sing restaurant in Longview.  It was interesting that the former owner of Sing Sings was in church today.  It has been closed now almost a year.

We had a great time at the OMSI exhibit on Saturday as recommended by the kids.  We tried to make it home in time to go the Seder at church but got caught in a traffic jam in Portland and missed it.
We are enjoying the happy spring flowers in our front yard. They are especially pretty in the sunny weather today.
I will add my Mona-Jan to the pictures on Tonia's blog I forgot to smile just a small Mona smile.
