Father's day hike

Today we took Chris on a hike to Moulton Falls near Yacolt. We got a little lost because I didn't trust the directions but we made it without too much delay. The rain held off until the drive home and we just had a few sprinkles. We enjoyed seeing several falls and about a mile + hike altogether. We then enjoyed milkshakes on the way home at a little place that had a bunch of Irish maps and stuff on their walls. It brought back lots of memories for Reuben and Laura. Enjoy the pictures.

This was the upper falls. We actually hiked a little uphill from this falls on the trail and found a railroad track and a covered station by the track. It had a nice pot bellied stove and benches and even a recliner but also had a no tresspassing sign.

This was the lower falls next to the parking lot.

Laura's wedding

Saturday May 29th Laura was married to Reuben Powers. Everything went pretty smoothly with a lot of help from friends and family. It was beautiful and turned out just like we dreamed. Check out Tonia's blog for more wedding pictures and there will be more to come from Deborah's professional photos.This is the only picture I had time to take at Laura's wedding. This is just before pictures with Reuben began and she was about to enter the sanctuary for him to see her for the first time.

Yesterday Laura and Reuben opened their wedding presents and shared about their trip to Ireland. This is a picture of the wedding signature quilt that people had signed at the showers and wedding. I finished the top and took it to a quilter this week.

We had a great time this past Saturday at Laura's shower. Here we are waiting for the fun to really get started.

Rikki helped people sign the signature quilt. We hope to have some of it made up before hand to display at the wedding.
